Something broken, something confusing, or an idea for what's missing — write to support@ullage.app and a person will read it.
It helps to say which device you're on and what you expected to happen. If it's a sync problem, say whether the other phone shows the same thing.
From inside the app there's a shorter way: Send us a note in Settings. It reaches the same place, and it brings your app version and platform along so we don't have to ask.
Do I need an account?
No. Ullage works fully offline with no account at all. You only attach an email if you want your pantry to survive a lost phone, or want to share it with the people you live with.
How does sharing work?
In Settings, choose to share your household. You get a six-letter code. Anyone who enters that code on their own phone joins the same shelf — what they buy shows up for you, and the shopping list is one list. Sharing is free and always will be.
I got a new phone. How do I get my pantry back?
If you had attached an email address, enter the same address on the new phone and confirm the code we send you — your shelf comes back. If you never attached one, there is nothing to restore, because nothing had ever left the old phone. That's the trade the app makes on purpose.
Why is the date only a guess?
Because it is one. Ullage watches how often you actually buy something and works out its rhythm. After one purchase it knows almost nothing; after a few it gets steadily better. It will be wrong sometimes, and it would rather show you an honest guess than a confident wrong number.
You never have to tell it how much you have left. Just mark what you bought — that's the whole job, and it's the reason the app doesn't drift into lying to you the way stock-counting apps do.
Something is wrong in my pantry. How do I fix it?
- Open an item to change its size or its variety.
- Marking something bought again is always safe — the rhythm adjusts.
- An item you don't want any more can be removed from the item's own detail view.
How do I delete my data?
Both from Settings, and neither needs to go through us. Delete account erases the copy on our server. Delete all data erases everything on the device. See the privacy page for exactly what each one removes.
